Launched in 2021, Move For Hunger’s Bulk Food Recovery Program tackles hunger and reduces food waste at scale. We work with our transportation partners to deliver surplus food from farms and other sources directly to communities in need. In efforts to divert food from rotting in landfills, the program has pioneered innovative transportation and cold storage solutions by working with a diverse range of partners across the country - from gleaning organizations to farmers markets. In just a few years, we’ve rescued over 34,841,356 pounds of food!
