Kids are great advocates. They’re creative, artistic, and full of energy and great ideas. Embracing these characteristics can really help to make your food drive a success. Here are a few ways to get kids involved when planning your next food drive.
Educate them
The more information they have, the more they can share with their friends and families.

Let them advertise
Encourage them to make posters and design flyers. They can also advertise within their school by making announcements during assemblies or over the PA system.

Hold competitions
For example, see which classroom can collect the most canned goods.

Have them get everyone they know involved
Kids are involved in many different activities in and outside of school, such as sports teams, music lessons, dance classes, and arts programs. By having the kids involve their connections from their various activities, even more people can become involved in the food drive and make donations.
