Throughout the month of September, AVE, a leading corporate housing provider, held food drives at six locations in New Jersey and suburban Philadephia to take part in Hunger Action Month. All six of the corporate housing locations encouraged residents to donate non-perishable food items, such as peanut butter, canned vegetables and fruit, cereals, soup, and pasta, all month long.
Thanks to the generosity of the employees and residents, the AVE locations were able to collect over 1,200 pounds of food. That equates to over 1,000 meals for their neighbors in need!
Crown Relocations
of New York volunteered to deliver the donations from three of the locations to the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Two Men and a Truck picked up the collections from the other three locations and brought the food to the Salvation Army of Westchester.
There are nearly 50 million Americans who face hunger each day. Thank you to AVE, Crown Relocations, and Two Men and Truck for helping create awareness of this problem and actively working to fight hunger in the communities you serve.
