Pine Hill Scout Reservation held a Cub Fun Day food drive on October 15. Scouts, non-scouts, and adults were encouraged to donate $5 and bring 1 canned food item to the campground in Pine Hill, NJ.
The food drive was able to collect an astonishing 810 pounds of food, which Anchor Moving & Storage, an Atlas agent, delivered to the Food Bank of South Jersey. That's the equivalent of 675 meals!
Over 1 million New Jersey residents face hunger each day, including one in seven children. Thank you to the Pine Hill Scouts, Anchor Moving & Storage, and everyone who donated for helping to make a difference in the lives of your neighbors in need.
