Last month, Paxton Van Lines of Bethesda, Maryland, an Atlas agent, held a food drive to fight hunger in the area. In exchange for shredding their documents, Paxton employees and members of the community were asked to donate nonperishable food items. The event was a huge success, and Paxton was able to reign in a total of 210 pounds of food to benefit the Our Daily Bread Food Pantry.
With their efforts, Paxton was able to provide 175 meals to people in Fairfax County, a huge help in an area where more than 67,000 people suffer from food insecurity.
