Three students from Monmouth Beach School organized a three week long Food Drive during the month of March. Items were collected at several different locations, including their school and The Church of Precious Blood.
The three Monmouth Beach students were very successful in setting up their first food drive. By the end of the food drive, they collected 381 pounds of food. This is equal to about 317 meals to feed those who are food insecure.
Special thanks to Lowy's Moving Service, a Wheaton agent, for volunteering their time and delivering the boxes of donated food to The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
