McLaren Beech Hill Center held a Thanksgiving Food Drive from November 7-18 in an effort to help out their neighbors in need this holiday season. Employees were encouraged to donate non-perishable, Thanksgiving-themed food items to the center's location in Flint, Michigan. Everyone at the center truly stepped up, as 300 pounds of food was donated - enough to provide approximately 250 meals!
Stevens Worldwide Van Lines of Waterford volunteered their services and delivered all of the donations to the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan in Detroit.
There are currently more than 1.5 million people, including 1 in 5 children, who struggle with food insecurity in Michigan. Thank you to everyone at McLaren Beech Hill Center and Stevens Worldwide Van Lines of Waterford for lending a generous hand to your neighbors in need!
Anyone can host a food drive. We can help!
