Kris Radio Quality Kars, an auto dealership in Mansfield, Ohio, held a holiday food drive from December 5-23. Employees, shoppers, and members of the local community were asked to bring non-perishable food items, such as peanut butter, tuna, canned soup, and cereal, to the dealership to help support the effort.
When all was said and done, 700 pounds of food had been collected - that's enough to provide 580 meals! The donations were then loaded into the back of a Volvo XC90 and personally delivered by a member of the Kris Radio Quality Cars team to the H.O.P.E. Food Pantry.
Nearly 20,000 people, including 1 in 4 children, in Richland County struggle to put food on their plates every day. Kudos to generous folks at Kris Radio Quality Kars for providing a much-needed service to your community!
