GlaxoSmithKline locations in the Philadelphia area held three food drives in conjuction with three 5k races to help fight hunger in their community. The races were held in Collegeville, King of Prussia, and at The Navy Yard.
In total, GlaxoSmithKline collected 550 pounds of food, which equates to about 460 meals!
Collegeville - 320 lbs
King of Prussia - 190 lbs
Navy Yard - 40 lbs
The donations were generously transported by Clemmer Moving & Storage, Anchor Moving & Storage, a Wheaton agent, and Wayne Moving & Storage, an Atlas agent to the Keystone Opportunity Center.
Over 1.7 million people in Pennsylvania are food insecure, including one in six children. Thank you to everyone who made each of these food drives a success!
