Delaware Moving and Storage, a Wheaton agent, held its annual Fall fundraiser on October 15 at their office in Bear. The event featured food, music by Rock Dat Entertainment, grab bags, and appearances by the Chick-Fil-A Cow & the Christiana fire truck. Attendees were encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, which were delivered to local food church closets by Delaware Moving & Storage.
The event brought in a whopping 1,380 pounds of food, which equates to 1,150 meals for their neighbors in need! Nearly 118,000 people in Delaware face hunger, including one in six children. A big thank you goes out to Delaware Moving & Storage and to all those who donated to help make a difference!
