Clarins hosted an employee food drive at their offices from November 14-18. Staffers were encouraged to donate Thanksgiving-themed, non-perishable food items, such as stuffing, cranberry sauce, instant mashed potatoes, and canned vegetables, for their neighbors in need.
When all was said and done, a grand total of 80 pounds of food had been collected, enough to provide 65 meals.
Our friends at Liffey Van Lines generously volunteered to pick up and deliver the donations to the New York Common Pantry.
There are more than 1.3 million people who are affected by food insecurity in New York County, including 1 in 5 children. Many thanks to the staff at Clarins and Liffey Van Lines for making a positive impact on your community this holiday season!
Anyone can host a food drive. We can help!
