A-1 First Class Moving and Storage, an Atlas agent, hosted their fourth annual "Fill-A-Truck" Food Drive on February 11.
A-1 had a truck parked outside of the Super Stop & Shop grocery store in Oceanside, NY, and challenged the local community to fill the entire vehicle 
with non-perishable food items.
At the end of the day, 570 pounds of food had been loaded onto the truck, enough to provide 475 meals for their neighbors in need. A-1 First Class Moving then personally delivered the donations to the Island Harvest Food Bank, which will help the nearly 200,000 people, including 1 in 8 children, who struggle with food insecurity in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Over the course of four events, A-1 First Class Moving & Storage has now collected more than 3,100 pounds of food - nearly 2,600 meals. Thank you to the entire crew for your dedication to fighting hunger on Long Island!
