In May, our amazing friends at Hunters Glen Apartments in Upper Marlboro, MD held a Spring Into Action food drive! In just 2 weeks, the residents and staff donated more than 100 lbs. of food, which is enough to provide 80 meals for their neighbors in need! Our fantastic partners at CORT's Washington, D.C. branch volunteered to pick up the donations and delivered them to the local food bank.
As a member of our Multi-Family Apartment Program, Hunters Glen Apartments is also providing their residents with the opportunity to donate their non-perishable food when they move out. It's a simple way for their community to be more sustainable and fight hunger at the same time.
