Food waste is a massive problem, and that is why Move For Hunger is always searching for new opportunities to make an impact beyond our traditional programs. In addition to asking their customers to donate their food when they move, several members of our network also assist with gleanings and by rescuing leftover food from marathons and other endurance events. It’s an easy way to save tons of food with minimal time commitment, and will help to keep the shelves at your local food bank fully stocked.
