On May 21, members of Temple Rodeph Torah held their annual food drive at a local Acme and ShopRite grocery store, and it was a huge success! Throughout the morning and afternoon, volunteers were stationed at both grocery stores to collect non-perishable food donations from shoppers. Between both locations, they were able to collect 2,705 pounds of food -- enough to provide 2,250 meals!
Special thanks to Ralph of Lowy's Moving Service, a Wheaton agent, for going above and beyond to ensure that Temple Rodeph Torah had all the materials and support necessary to deliver the donations to the Fulfill Monmouth and Ocean.
Nearly 1 million people, including 1 in 7 children, in New Jersey face hunger every day. Thanks to Ralph and everyone at Temple Rodeph Torah for helping feed your neighbors in need!
