To fight hunger in Chicago this holiday season, Redfin Real Estate held a food drive from October 31-December 2. Employees were encouraged to donate peanut butter, rice, pasta, beans, cereal, and other nutritious, non-perishable items.
Together, the staff collected 60 pounds of food - that's enough to provide 50 meals for their neighbors in need.
Gentle Giant Moving Company of Chicago generously provided boxes for the event and volunteered to deliver all of the donations to a local food bank.
