With over 1.36 million people, including over 420,000 children, suffering from food insecurity in New York City, Physical Therapy of Harlem was compelled to join the fight against hunger.
Over the past two years, Physical Therapy of Harlem has collected over 200lbs of food to give to the local community in need. This year, in only two weeks they were able to provide about 66 meals to the hungry in their community by donating the food that they collected to the Food Bank For New York City.
We also want to thank Shleppers Movers for generously donating their time and resources, enabling this food drive to happen.
