For the third year in a row, the Perfect 10 Miler, the largest all-women's 10 mile race in the country, collected food at their New Jersey event. On Saturday, October 24, 2015 runners and fans gathered at Mercer County Park to donate food and enjoy the race. The Perfect 10 Miler collected 192 lbs this year, bringing their three-year total to 1,450 lbs!
All of the food donated went to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul to serve people in need. Almost 44,000 people in Mercer County are affected by food insecurity and the donations raised at the Perfect 10 Miler will help provide 160 meals to those New Jerseyans.
Special thanks goes out to Simonik Transportation and Warehousing, an Allied agent, for donating their time and resources to help make this donation possible.
