Its no secret that we have fantastic movers in our network that go above and beyond to help the less fortunate. This month we hope you will join us in celebrating our Mover of the Month for February of 2014- Beltmann Relocation Group of Phoenix, AZ.
The Mover of the Month Award is given to the mover that best represents the Move For Hunger spirit for that given month.
Since they first enrolled in July of 2012, Beltmann Phoenix has delivered for more than 8,917 lbs. of food, enough to provide meals for more than 7,400 individuals in the Phoenix area.
Their efforts have a very real impact in their area, as Arizona has one of the highest food insecurity rates in the whole country.
In fact 19.1%, or almost one out of every five people are food insecure in Arizona.
Not only does Beltmann Phoenix regularly donate to their food bank, they are always eager to lend a hand for food drives and other events that pop up. Earlier this year, they participated in the Dutch Love Day food drive that brought in more than 13,000 lbs.
