Montway Auto Transport, a Chicago-based nationwide auto transportation company, held a successful Thanksgiving food drive last year, collecting 261lbs of food. The company challenged its offices to collect as much food as they could throughout the month of November. With all of the donations benefiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the about 218 meals will directly feed the local community members in need.
Almost 762,000 people are living with food insecurity in Cook County alone. With the help of Reebie Storage and Moving Co., an agent of Allied Van Lines, who generously volunteered their time, resources, and manpower, Montway Auto Transport is fighting to eliminate that statistic.
