La Salle University student and NJ resident, Chris Carlino, held a month-long food drive at two NJ locations to aid the fight against hunger. Anchor Moving & Storage, an agent of Wheaton Worldwide, generously supported Chris's food drive, volunteering to supply boxes and transport the donations to the local food bank.
Throughout the month of September, Chris collected non-perishable food items at Virtua Hospital in Vorhees, NJ and the Mt. Laurel Community Center in Mt. Laurel, NJ. In total, Chris collected 492 pounds of food for the Food Bank of South Jersey. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of Chris Carlino and Anchor Moving & Storage, 410 meals can be offered to those in need.
All of us at Move For Hunger would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone that made this food drive a great success! Find out how Move For Hunger can help you make a difference in your community today!
