THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF FOOD COLLECTED AND DONATED
Move For Hunger and Harris Teeter's partnership to hold the Fill-A-Truck food drive was once again a huge success! On September 28th, at four different Harris Teeter locations, movers 
parked their empty trucks in the parking lot and waited for community members to come fill it with donations. The day long event ended up receiving thousands of pounds in donations collectively. We would like to give a huge thank you to all of our dedicated movers for making this event possible!
Smith Dray Line's team collected 348 pounds of food at the River Place, SC location! That 
is enough to provide 290 meals to t
hose in need.
College Hunks' team collected 2,500 pounds of food at the Westhaven Town Centre, TN! This amount will provide 2,083 meals to those in need.
Berger Allied's team collected 800 pounds of food at the Mint Hill, NC location! That is enough for 667 meals for those in need.
Berger Allied's team collected 3,181 pounds of food at the Monroe, NC location! This amount will provide 2,651 meals for those in need.
Another big thank you to all of the volunteers and those who donated! Donations, big and small, are always appreciated. Events like this are made possible by the efforts of everyone on every end! Remember that everyone has the power to help make a difference in the ongoing battle against hunger in the United States and worldwide.
