Clancy Relocation & Logistics decided to dedicate the weekend of September 19th to fighting hunger. Teaming up with local radio station Kicks 105.5, they hosted a Fill-A-Truck at a Stop and Shop in Somers, NY.
The three-day food drive was extremely successful. Radio Station Kicks 105.5 hosted a booth, playing music and promoting participation. The station encouraged donations as part of their Food for Friends campaign during Hunger Awareness Month.
At the close of the weekend, Clancy Relocation and Kicks 105.5 collected 2,180 pounds of non-perishable food. The food was then delivered to the Putnam Community Action Program which helps the low-income and at-risk residents of Putnam County.
This is a sizable donation that will greatly benefit Putnam CAP and save them the resources necessary to collect and pick up the food. Move For Hunger is proud to work with movers who are dedicated to helping those at risk for hunger!
