For the third year in a row Bronxville High School and Middle School partnered with Al's Moving and Storage to hold a fall food drive. This year's event ran from November 1-18. Students, teachers, and administrators were encouraged to donate non-perishable, Thanksgiving-themed food items to help provide meals for their neighbors in need in time for the holiday.
Thanks to the generosity of the Bronxville community, more than 350 pounds of food was collected - that's the equivalent of 300 meals!
Al's Moving and Storage once again helped to make the event possible by providing boxes for the collection and volunteering to deliver all of the donations to the Food Bank for Westchester.
There are nearly 85,000 people in Westchester County who face hunger each day, including 1 in 7 children. Thank you Bronxville High School & Middle School, and Al’s Moving and Storage for your commitment to fighting hunger in your community!
Anyone can host a food drive. We can help!
