BLOOMINGTON, IL - Several district 87 schools in Bloomington decided to team up with Move For Hunger to combat hunger through food drives in November. All donations were transported courtesy of Bloomington Relocation Systems, an agent of North American Van Lines, to the local Clare House to be distributed to those in need.
We are very happy to announce that these collective food drives raised 2,520 pounds of food! That is enough to provide 2,100 meals for individuals!
Congratulations to the awesome students and staff of these schools and our wonderful movers at Bloomington Relocation for doing such a fantastic job with this food drive! Move For Hunger is always excited to see young people getting involved with helping those battling hunger in their community!
