Volunteers stick it out through the rain to collect food for their local food bank
On Sunday May 11 volunteers from Bekins Transfer and Storage parked a truck in front of Redner's Market to collect food. Volunteers camped from 10am-4pm through the rain with one goal fill an entire truck with food!
Bekins volunteers with the help of Redner's staff were able to collect 840lbs of food! All the donations will benefit the North Coventry Food Pantry of Pottstwon PA. Unlike larger food banks, North Coventry receives few donations from the government and relies almost exclusively on community support.
This donation will provide 646 meals for families in need! Keep up the fantastic work guys
