AVE, an extended stay accommodation community in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, collected 582lbs of food during their Thanksgiving food drive last month. Between November 1 and November 22, six AVE locations collected enough food for 485 meals for community members in need.
The food that the Clifton (NJ), Somerset (NJ), Union (NJ), Downingtown (PA), Lansdale (PA), and Malvern (PA) offices collected went to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and the Salvation Army of West Chester.
With a combined 2,910,410 people affected by food insecurity in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including 938,790 children, AVE's fight against hunger is greatly appreciated!
Special thanks to Crown Relocations and Two Men and a Truck for volunteering their time, resources, and manpower to make this food drive happen!
