Move For Hunger relies on the experience, vision, and leadership of its Board of Directors to provide the organization with responsible governance and bolster its efforts to reduce food waste and fight hunger.


Cindy Clare
Chief Operating Officer, Bell Partners Inc

Cindy Clare, CPM, is Chief Operating Officer at Bell Partners in Greensboro, NC. As COO, Ms. Clare oversees the operations of 60,000 apartment homes in more than 200 apartment communities across the nation.  She is responsible for all aspects of property operations and maintenance, lease-ups, relationships with third-party owners, Human Resources, and Marketing.

Ms. Clare has served as President of the IREM Northern Virginia Chapter, as well as Regional Vice President for IREM’s Region III.  She is currently a national faculty member at IREM and serves on IREM’s Executive Committee as an at large member.  She also serves on the Virginia Tech RPM Advisory Board. She is a Past President of AOBA, and in 2017, Ms. Clare was Chairman of the National Apartment Association. 

Ms. Clare received her degree from the University of Virginia.  She has over 30 years’ experience in the multifamily industry and was honored in 2015 as one of the “10 Most Influential Women in Real Estate” by Multi-Family Executive.  In 2018, Ms. Clare received the Lloyd D. Hanford Distinguished Instructor Award from IREM.

One thing you should know about Cindy: I am a Wahoo and love my Virginia Cavaliers!

Stephan Lowy
CEO, Lowy's Moving Service

Stephan has more than 30 years of experience directing his office and industrial relocation company in sales and marketing. He has also been involved in several start-ups, ranging from a computer network management company to indoor sports facilities. Stephan is member of the Foundation Board at Jersey Shore Medical Center, the Board of Directors for LADACIN Network, the Board of Directors for the Holocaust, Genocide & Human Rights Center at Brookdale Community College, a LEED Green Associate, and has a NJ Real Estate License. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration.

One thing you should know about Stephan: The man carries a camera, and he knows how to use it.

Tanya Mariottini
Director, Global Mobility, eBay

Tanya Mariottini GMS-T is Director, Global Mobility at eBay. She has ~20 years of Global Talent Mobility experience working in diverse industries and matrixed organizations including 10+ years in leadership roles and international assignments in both Asia and Europe. She has been an active member of WERC since 2007, joining their Board of Directors in January 2023. Tanya is an advocate for Move For Hunger, a non-profit focused on food insecurity and sustainability, and has actively participated on their Corporate Action Network since its founding in 2018, joining their Board of Directors in 2022. Tanya holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Management from The College of Idaho.

One thing you should know about Tanya: she's a twin!

Jenna Weinerman
Head of Special Projects of Corporate Development, Updater

Jenna is the Marketing Director at Updater, a relocation tech company that simplifies the way Americans move. She has spent ten years working across all marketing disciplines for a variety of companies, including both high-growth national startups and local businesses. Jenna’s passion for Move for Hunger began the moment she learned about the organization, and she is thrilled to be able to support it as a member of the Board. Jenna holds a BSBA in Marketing from American University in Washington, D.C. and often guest lectures at startup academies and universities.

One thing you should know about Jenna: She can rap every word to ‘Whoomp! There It Is’

Regi Young
Executive Director, Alameda County Community Food Bank

Regi Young is the Executive Director of the Alameda County Community Food Bank in Oakland, CA and has worked in food banking for over a decade. He began his career as a community organizer working to bring technology and economic resources to neighborhoods in Houston, TX. He later was 1 of 6 people selected to participate in Feeding America’s inaugural Child Hunger Corps program, where he partnered with staff at Houston Food Bank to assess and develop their hunger-relief programs. Upon completion of his service term, Regi joined the staff of Houston Food Bank and served in multiple capacities prior to being named Chief Strategy Officer in 2020. He is interested in the impact design can have in addressing social problems and has served in his current role at Alameda County Community Food Bank since 2021.

Regi was born in Southern California and grew up in Houston, TX. He received a BA in Political Science from Millsaps College, an MA in Cross-Cultural Studies from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University.

One thing you should know about Regi: He played football in college and still thinks he has one good season left in him.

Mike Davis
CEO and President of CORT Business Services, a Berkshire Hathaway Company

Mike Davis is CEO and President of CORT Business Services, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. This includes CORT Furniture Rental, CORT Trade Show and Events, Party Rentals and all other CORT-branded businesses throughout the U.S. and U.K. which include over 100 locations within the US, including warehouses, showrooms, and retail outlet centers. CORT is the nation’s leading provider of transition services, including furniture rental for home and office, event furnishings, destination services, apartment locating, touring, with global partners in more than 80 countries around the world. 

Mike has previously served on various industry boards including, EDPA (Experiential Designers and Producers Association), ESCA (Exhibition Services and Contractors Association) and IFRA (International Furniture Rental Association) where he is currently serving as President.

One thing you should know about Mike: He loves to travel and has lived and worked in other countries besides the United States.

Jim Low
Advisor, Rip Van

Jim has been a consumer products industry leader for over 20 years. His most recent role was as President of Rip Van, a fast-growing healthy snack company. During his tenure, Rip Van scaled 10X in total sales, expanded its range from a single product line to six and grew to a cross functional team of 50 people.

Prior to Rip Van, Jim was the EVP of Sales and Marketing at Schuman Cheese, where he led the retail expansion of its Whisps brand until its 2019 spin-off as an independent company. Jim was the General Manager at Enjoy Life Foods and held a variety of category leadership, brand marketing and sales roles at Mondelez International, Kraft and Nabisco.

Before entering the business world, Jim worked in public service as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill and as a social worker for Covenant House. He has been a volunteer and advisory board member for Covenant House, the University of North Carolina, the National Advertising Review Board, St. Peter Claver Church and other organizations.

Jim received his BA in Religion and Government from the College of William & Mary and his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

One thing to know about Jim, he loves a week in the wilderness, hiking completely off the grid.

Cam Barrett
Corporate Affairs Manager, The Kroger Co.

Cameron Barrett is the Corporate Affairs Manager for The Kroger Co. of Michigan, where he leads initiatives to amplify Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste social impact plan. In this role, Cameron focuses on strengthening community engagement, building corporate partnerships, and advancing sustainability efforts to create lasting change in the communities across the state of Michigan.
 
Cameron collaborated with Move For Hunger on a record-breaking initiative that used 12,952 cereal boxes to break the Guinness World Record for the most cereal boxes toppled in a domino-like fashion, raising awareness about hunger relief. This achievement reflects his commitment to using creativity and collaboration to create community impact.

Cameron’s impactful work has been recognized with Progressive Grocer’s GenNext Award, which honors young professionals under 40 who are making meaningful contributions to their industries and communities while demonstrating exceptional leadership and innovation.

He began his career in collegiate athletics and professional sports, holding roles with Auburn University Athletic Department and the Detroit Pistons, where he developed his skills in partnership engagement and community outreach. A Michigan native, Cameron earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Central Michigan University and proudly supports Move For Hunger’s mission to combat food insecurity.

Something You Should Know About Cam:
Even though he’s not exactly PGA Tour material, Cameron loves being on the golf course working on his swing.
 

Jennifer Saenz
Advisor, Winding Lane Ventures, LLC

Jen Saenz is a marketing and operations executive with more than two decades of experience building consumer brands and turning customer experience into measurable results. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Albertsons Companies. Before Albertsons, Jen spent 16 years at PepsiCo, culminating as Global Chief Marketing Officer and President of Global Foods. 

Her work has been recognized with Fast Company's Most Creative People, AdWeek's Brand Genius Award, and Brand Innovators' Top 100 Women in Marketing. Jen currently serves on the corporate board of directors of ZipRecruiter (NYSE: ZIP) and Carbios. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jennifer is passionate about giving back to her community and is dedicated to the fight against food insecurity. She joined the Move For Hunger Board of Directors to lend her expertise in consumer engagement and brand storytelling to help amplify the organization's mission of reducing food waste and fighting hunger across America.

One thing you should know about Jennifer: She believes the best meals are the ones shared with family, and she never turns down a good homemade taco.

Travis Lawrence

Travis Lawrence serves as Chief People Officer at HD Supply, leading the Human Resources and Communications functions including Recruiting, Talent Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), HR Business Partner and Strategy, and enterprise Communications. With more than 30 years of experience in high-volume retail management, Travis strives to maintain a best-in-class organization to bring the company's values to life for more than 12,000 associates.

Travis joined The Home Depot in 1989 and has held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility in both operations and human resources for the U.S. retail and supply chain organizations. Prior to joining HD Supply, Travis served as Vice President of Human Resources at The Home Depot, overseeing the development and execution of human resource programs for the company's retail logistics, import and domestic distribution centers, fulfillment centers, delivery fleet, transportation, inventory planning and replenishment operations, global sourcing, product development, and environmental, compliance and sustainability. Travis also formerly served as Senior Director of Human Resources for the U.S. retail and HR operations for ~2,000 retail stores.

Travis earned his master's degree in transportation and supply chain management from the University of Denver.

For the Fiscal Year of 2024, 95 cents of every dollar donated helped to fund our hunger relief and food rescue programs.
