For the seventh year in a row, the team from White Glove Moving, Storage, and Delivery, a Bekins agent based in Vero Beach, FL, organized a Season of Giving Food Drive to help fight hunger during the holidays.
Every year, White Gloving Moving asks other local businesses to serve as collection points during the week-long food drive. To make it easy to participate, White Glove Moving drops off an empty box to each location and then returns a week later to collect the donations. Seventy-five businesses joined the effort this year, making it one of White Glove's largest food drives to date.
White Glove's goal was to collect 2,500 lbs. of food overall, but the Treasure Coast community had a bigger number in mind! A grand total of 3,460 lbs. of food was donated this year, which was enough to provide 2,880 meals! White Glove delivered all of the donations to the Treasure Coast Food Bank on December 20, just in time for the holidays.
Since joining Move For Hunger back in 2013, White Glove Moving has delivered nearly 138,000 lbs. of food to their local food banks -- that's the equivalent of nearly 115,000 meals! Thank you to Anna Valencia Tillery and the entire team for your unwavering support!
