This summer, our movers in the greater Philadelphia area have been helping get freshly picked corn from the farm and into the hands of their neighbors in need.

Every Monday from August 6-October 22, volunteers head out to A.T. Buzby Farm in Woodstown, NJ to pick as much fresh corn as they possibly can. On August 20, the volunteers harvested approximately 3,000 lbs. during their 3-hour shift. Our friends from Sinclair Moving & Storage were on hand to load up all that produce onto one of their trucks. They then drove straight from the farm to Miguel's Pharmacy in Camden, where Philabundance's partner agency Touch NJ arranged to have every ear of corn distributed to members of the community that same day!
Food banks have made it a priority to improve the amount of fresh produce they distribute for the health benefits it provides. According to Philabundance, every 1 pound of produce donated enhances 1 meal. Thank you to the team at Sinclair Moving & Storage for helping to enhance 3,000 meals!
