First-Rate Movers Delivers 150 Cases of Bottled Water to Local Church

June 23, 2020

Earlier this month, our friends from First-Rate Movers delivered 150 cases of bottled water to the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ellendale, DE. Although our network is primarily focused on rescuing non-perishable food items, food banks and pantries are always in need of water, too, especially during the summer months.

First-Rate Movers joined the Move For Hunger network in April, and this was their first delivery to their local food pantry. They couldn't have signed up at a better time. Feeding America projects that the rate of food insecurity in Delaware's Sussex County will increase from 10.9% to 16.6% in 2020 due the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic

Thank you to Brett Hyson and the rest of the team at First-Rate Movers for supporting your community during this crisis. We look forward to continuing to find ways to work together and provide assistance to your neighbors in need.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has left a massive economic impact and has drastically increased the need for emergency food assistance nationwide. Move For Hunger is actively searching for ways to meet the demand, but we're going to need your help.

If you can, please consider making a donation to Move For Hunger. With your support, we'll be able to rapidly respond and mobilize our network in communities across the United States and Canada.
