Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage Food Drive 2020 (4).jpgCoastal Carrier Moving & Storage held a food drive on Saturday, May 16 and collected 500 lbs. of non-perishable food!

The event was held at Sea Merchants Grocery Store, and the team from Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage was on hand to encourage shoppers to donate canned goods, pasta, peanut butter, and other shelf stable items. Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage then personally delivered to Help Center at Federal Point, where it was distributed to families, children, and seniors who are facing hunger during the COVID-19 crisis.

"Thank you to everyone who made this food drive a success," said Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage in a Facebook post. "We appreciate all of the support from the community that we are so proud to be a member of!"

Hunger is rising all across the country as a result of the pandemic, and Wilmington, NC is no exception. Thank you to our friends from Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage for taking action and providing 415 meals for their neighbors in need!
