Woodstream Townhomes and Allegria at Roseville awarded January Communities of the Month!

January 23, 2024

It’s the new year and two communities are already exceeding their new year’s goals by being our January Communities of the Month. Congratulations to Woodstream Townhomes and Allegria at Roseville! These two communities continue to work every day to end hunger.

Both communities, managed by FPI Management, hosted Season of Giving food drives, collecting 1,500 pounds of food- providing 1,250 meals to communities around California!

“I think it’s important to give back in any way possible, because every little bit counts,” Maricel Ramirez said, the area supervisor for FPI Management. “Giving back should not just be done during the holiday season, but each and every day of the year. The simple essentials in life like food may be taken for granted, but for those in need, having a meal to eat may be the key to staying alive.”

Since joining the Move For Hunger network in 2018, Woodstream Townhomes has provided over 600 meals to families in need, collecting nearly 750 pounds of food.

Allegria at Roseville also collected nearly 750 pounds of food - the equivalent of 625 meals for families in need! Allegria joined the fight to end hunger back in 2018, and continues to fight.

“It is so important to help others in need. I love that FPI partners with MFH every year. Warms my heart to be part of such an amazing group of people.”

The donations were delivered to Twin Lakes Food Bank.

In California alone, over four million people struggle to put food on the table every day. These donations can make a huge difference for these families. We are so thankful to have communities like Woodstream Townhomes and Allegria at Roseville fighting hunger!
