Notes from the Field: Bridget’s Multifamily Mid-Year Update

July 13, 2022

A note from our Director of Multifamily Partnerships, Bridget Foley

I am feeling the LOVE after an amazing week at !! Our Multifamily team had a jam packed week full of fun, fantastic energy, and most importantly, after seeing our amazing partners, the love of the multifamily industry. NAAConference2022-June-5.jpg

We started our week listening in on important topics that the NAA committees are tackling, including DE&I, legislative rental housing issues, and philanthropic efforts in the Multifamily industry. We were able to share our story of tackling food waste and food insecurity in the multifamily industry, inspiring so many to take charge and join our initiatives!

Our community of the year winner from 2021 ALSO got some love! We were able to present The Meridian at Stanford Ranch, an FPI community, their award, celebrating their amazing work from 2021 and the over 10k meals they collected. Check out the video here!

The rest of the week was a whirlwind of events, meetings, and ended with the gaslamp party! We saw so many friendly faces and met some awesome folks looking to join our fight aNAAConference2022-June-9.jpggainst hunger.

I want to personally thank our partners at CORT, Assurant, Chadwell Supply, Fincor, and Kastle Systems who were the best hosts to our team. Without their undying effort to rescue food each and every day we could not do what we do.

I am happy to announce that after this NAA trip we are now leading to get to 3,000 properties this year (up from 2,300 in 2021), collecting over 50k meals this year ALONE which is ahead of where we were during last year’s record year.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to say THANK YOU to every person joining us in this fight against hunger and food waste. Nearing our fifth anniversary of our program and seeing the amazing work your teams have done is so inspirational. Without YOU none of this would be possible.

On to planning for NAA 2023! See y’all in Atlanta!
