Morgan Properties held food drives at seven of their properties in Delaware from November 1-December 15 to fight hunger during the holiday season.
Residents and employees at each location were asked to donate non-perishable, holiday-themed food items, such as stuffing, instant potatoes, gravy, and canned fruits/vegetables, to help provide meals to their neighbors in need. Nearly 400 lbs. of food was collected in total, which is the equivalent of 330 meals!
Bayshore Moving & Storage and Bayshore’s Sister Company, ShoreView Moving & Storage, volunteered to pick up the donations for all 7 properties and deliver them to the Food Bank of Delaware.
More than 114,000 people, including 1 in 6 children, in Delaware are food insecure. Thank you to the staff at each of the Morgan Properties locations, and to the crew at Bayshore & ShoreView Moving, for making a difference in the communities you serve.
