Our partners at Gentle Giant Moving Company have been hard at work in Fort Lauderdale, Florida partnering with GoGo squeeZ to help transport food to those in need.
Gentle Giant and GoGo squeeZ have transported 5 pallets of food to organizations supporting youth programs. These programs include SOS Florida, Boca Helping Hands, Remillard Family Resource Center, JAFCO The Ability Center, PBC School, JCC Palm Beaches, and the Spirit of Giving Network.
Through their combined efforts they have delivered over 3,800 lbs. of food to these programs, which equates to over 3,100 meals. This has been especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic, where hunger is more prevalent than ever before. Unfortunately, in Fort Lauderdale, FL alone there are over 66,000 children who are food insecure. By Gentle Giant and GoGo squeeZ supporting these youth programs, they are aiding in the fight against food insecurity.
