Churchill Apartments Springs in Action

April 15, 2020

When most of the country was starting to shut down, Churchill Apartments in Minneapolis held steady to complete their Spring into Action Food Drive. The RMK Management property collected 150 pounds of food to donate to a local Twin Cities food bank. Boulevard Moving & Storage of Minnesota, part of Suddath Relocation Systems and United Van Lines, assisted with the food transportation.

The food could not have come at a more critical time as unemployment continues to skyrocket and businesses are temporarily shutting their doors. It’s estimated that 17 more million people will be food insecure in 2020 for a total of around 54 million.

Roughly 1 in 9 people in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area is struggling to get food. Churchill Apartments and other communities like Churchill Apartments are helping fight this crisis one food drive at a time.
