Armstrong Moving of Toronto held their third/final food drive of 2017 in December and collected more than 1,400 lbs. of food, which was enough to provide 1,160 meals to their neighbors in need. All of the donations were delivered to The Mississauga Food Bank.
More than 100,000 people in Mississauga live in poverty and many rely on the Food Bank to make ends meet. Armstrong Moving helped to keep the shelves stocked throughout the year by holding food drives in July, October, and December. Since joining our network in 2014, Armstrong Moving has delivered more than 34,000 lbs. of food to the Mississauga Food Bank, enough to provide 28,600 meals for their neighbors in need.
