SIRVA's team in San Ramon, CA and three DJK Residential offices in the Tri-State teamed up to fight hunger this fall. From November 6-10, employees at each location were asked to donate non-perishable, Thanksgiving-themed food, such as stuffing, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, and canned vegetables, to help provide holiday meals for their neighbors in need.
Together, the four offices collected a grand total of 1,550 lbs. of food, which is the equivalent of 1,290 meals! All of the donations were delivered to food banks in the communities SIRVA and DJK Residential serve.
More than 42 million Americans, including 1 in 6 children, are food insecure. Thank you to everyone at SIRVA and DJK Residential for joining our fight to end hunger in California, New York, Connecticut, and all across the United States!
