food insecurity - the worst it's been in a decade
The pandemic and inflation have had a devastating economic impact and filled the lines at food banks and pantries across the country. More than 44 million Americans including 1 in 5 children are struggling with food insecurity and do not know where their next meal is coming from.
For people of color and other minorities, the situation is even worse. Hunger disproportionately affects the Black population, the Latinx community, LGBTQ+ individuals, and more.
33 million meals provided and counting
Alongside Move For Hunger's network of 1,200 transportation partners, we're on pace to provide more meals this year than ever before - about 7 million (up from 4.5 million meals last year) across the United States and Canada.
Food banks need support to deliver supplies to their warehouses and distribution centers. With a fleet of trucks, experienced drivers, and crews capable of doing the heavy lifting, our network can provide reliable transportation assistance and free up resources for food banks to use elsewhere.
Our team is working hard every day to connect transportation resources that want to help with the food banks who so desperately need it.

By helping feed a familes in need, you may qualify for a limited edition Move For Hunger gift. By becoming a monthly donor, you have the option to receive either a green or orange Move For Hunger T-Shirt when you donate $50 or more.
To receive a sustainable Bento Box, you can do 1 of 3 things: (1) donate $1,000 or more, (2) join our Legacy Society, or (3) make a stock donation, IRA, or Donor Advised Fund.
No matter the gift, it will go towards our hunger relief and food recovery programs.
