North Bay Moving & Storage Teams Up with Local Middle School to Hold Food Drive

February 5, 2018

North Bay Moving & Storage joined our network in late September and made an immediate impact. The San Rafael, CA-based movers partnered with a local middle school to hold a food drive during the holiday season. Non-perishable food donations were accepted at North Bay Moving & Storage's office and at the school from December 11-15. More than 440 lbs. of food was collected between both locations, which is enough to provide 360 meals!

Most of the credit for this amazing event belongs to Bob Brasil and his team, but we'd be remiss if we didn't acknowledge the contributions of the California Moving & Storage Association. This fall, the CMSA encouraged all of its members to hold food drives and fight hunger in the communities they serve. Without the CMSA's leadership, this food drive likely would not have happened.

All of the donations were delivered to the SF-Marin Food Bank, which supplies food to 400 non-profit partners every week and helps to feed more than 44,000 children in the Bay Area each year, courtesy of North Bay Moving & Storage.

Thank you to the crew at North Bay Moving & Storage, everyone at the CMSA, and to the students at San Jose Middle School for working together to make a difference.
