Over 80 organizations sleighed it with their Season of Giving Food Drives, providing more than 40,000 meals to food insecure communities in the U.S. and Canada

March 1, 2022

What better way to get into the holiday spirit than to host a food drive and provide meals to the 42 million people in America who are facing food insecurity?!

Over the holiday season, more than 80 food drives were held across the country by a variety of our network and partners to provide more than 40,000 meals to food insecure communities throughout the United States.

Here are some highlights from our Season of Giving Food Drives:

Quality Move Management, an agent for Allied, hosted their first Season of Giving Food Drive this past December, donating more than 26,000 lbs of food to a handful of food banks in Canada. This will provide more than 21,000 meals to food insecure communities.

The Canadian moving company hosted their Season of Giving Food Drives in 5 different locations, with the Calgary and Toronto locations with the most donations. QMM Calgary donated a whopping 9,350 lbs, equalling nearly 7,800 meals to the Calgary Food Bank, and QMM Toronto collected over 6,100lbs, equalling over 5,000 meals to Edmonton’s Food Bank.

Speaking of firsts, IMC Marketing, an MPG affiliate, also hosted their first Season of Giving Food  Drive in 2021. Their food drives took place inIMC/MPG_SeasonofGiving2021 3 separate locations, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and New York.

In total, the food drives collaboratively collected over 1,300lbs of food, providing food insecure families and individuals with nearly 1,150 meals during the holiday season. The Pennsylvania office was the top collector, donating over 600lbs of food to New Hope Ministries. Thanks to S&P Network, who stepped up to help transport the donations!

Ramar Moving Systems also got in on the holiday giving action, collecting 8,300lbs of food during an in-office food drive in December. Located in Minnesota, where over 430,000 people are food insecure, their hard work provided nearly 7,000 meals to local communities that are facing hunger.
