The California Moving & Storage Association asked its members to hold a food drive this fall, and Chipman Relocation & Logistics responded!
From November 1-20, the Sacramento-based moving company asked its employees and members of the local community to donate non-perishable food — such as peanut butter, tuna fish, cereal, and pasta — to help their neighbors in need during the holiday season. Together, they collected 240 lbs. of food, which is enough to provide 200 meals! Chipman Relocation & Logistics delivered all of the donations to Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, which provides free emergency goods and services to 135,000 men, women, and children each month.”
More than 238,000 people, including 1 in 5 children, in Sacramento County face hunger each day. Thank you to the team at Chipman Relocation & Logistics for working to make a difference in the communities you serve.
