DESCRIPTION

Move For Hunger, a nationally recognized non-profit organization, seeks a creative, talented, and enthusiastic videography and animation intern. The selected candidate will work directly with the Art Director, Executive Director, and Communications Manager to create videos that will help raise awareness about hunger. This is a great opportunity for any self-motivated candidate looking to build their portfolio.

 

TIME COMMITMENT
  • 2-4 days/week
  • Minimum 10 hrs/week in our Neptune, NJ office
  • Part-time availability during the semester
  • Additional remote hours may be needed for editing

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere & AfterEffects
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Experience with graphic design & layout
  • Experience with 2D animation
  • Must be able to work cohesively and collaborate in a team environment
  • Must be organized, detailed oriented, proactive, and deadline-driven
  • A portfolio that showcases your many talents (required with interview)
  • Open to constructive feedback
  • Candidate must use his/her own laptop during the course of the internship, however, an extra monitor will be provided
  • Must have a great understanding of our mission, goal, and audience

 

Duties and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will vary from day to day, however, possibilities include the following:

  • Lead and/or assist with the production of all video and media projects
  • Assist in selecting, organizing, and editing footage
  • Collaborate with other teams to arrange video shoots
  • Produce dynamic content for YouTube and social media channels
  • Produce branded stock video opening & closings
  • Develop storyboard ideas for new content and videos
  • Combine animation & video
  • Local off-site shooting
  • Absorb creative direction while bringing unique ideas and a point of view to the table
  • Attend brainstorm sessions and video meetings
  • Adhere to Move For Hunger’s brand and style guide
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
