Congratulations to City Moving & Storage – in Lawton, OK for being honored as our Mover of the Month for May 2012.

This month Mover of the Month is all about Consistency!! It’s not always about who delivered the biggest donation each month.  We are building real connections between movers and food banks. City Moving & Storage, exemplifies regularly supporting their local food bank. Last month alone they delivered over 650 pounds of food!! All of this from their customers who are relocating.  Since joining Move For Hunger in December of 2009 City has donated over 3,474 Pounds of food for the Lawton Food Bank. This is enough food to provide over 2,672 life saving meals for those in need.

City Moving and Storage is the first mover to earn the title of Mover of the Month in two consecutive years. Fittingly enough both in the month of May!!  It is the effort and dedication of moving partners like City that make a difference in their community each and every day.
