Dear Move For Hunger:

My name is Candy Lievsay.  I am a 6th grade literature teacher in Broken Arrow, OK.  Broken Arrow is a suburb of Tulsa.  As a recent class assignment, my students were required to read the article on you in Women’s World Magazine.

I, along with many of my students, were very impressed with Move For Hunger and the idea of taking what people were going to throw away to a local food bank.  We did some additional research on Move For Hunger on the web.  We were disappointed to discover that Oklahoma was not a state participating.  (Move For Hunger only has 1 moving company working with us in the entire state – City Moving & Storage in Lawton, OK)

What can we do as a teacher and students to bring Move For Hunger to Oklahoma?  Who can we contact and petition?  We would love to see Oklahomans benefit from this worthy cause.  Please tell us what we can do to get started.

Thank you for making a difference in people’s lives!

Sincerely,

Candy Lievsay
