Move For Hunger Needs Your VOTE To Receive $1,000,000 From Chase Bank

Supporters can make a huge impact by voting through the American Giving Awards program

Neptune, NJ – Move For Hunger is has been chosen as 1 of 25 charities competing nationwide for donations ranging from $125,000 to $1,000,000 through the American Giving Awards, presented by Chase. With the support of volunteers, fans and local residents, Move For Hunger has the opportunity to expand its resources and help to feed even more struggling families across the U.S.

Everyone can help ensure the charity’s success by voting for Move For Hunger through the American Giving Awards on Facebook.Fans will have from this Wednesday, Sept 28 at noon, until Oct. 5 at noon to help select the final 5 charities that will share $2 million.

“Move For Hunger is constantly striving to strengthen our community by actively engaging the transportation industry to support local food banks. Receiving even $125,000 would be an unbelievable opportunity to grow our network of movers and spread awareness of the ever-growing hunger problem in communities across the country” said Adam Lowy Executive Director of Move For Hunger.

Once the five finalists have been chosen, there will be a second round of voting from in early December. The top eligible charity at the end of the second round will receive $1 million, the runner up will receive $500,000, the third place charity will receive $250,000, and the forth and fifth place charities will each receive $125,000 grants.

“Having partners like Move For Hunger is critical for the Food Bank, not only to implement our initiatives but also spread awareness to the need in our community,” said Kate McMahon, Events coordinator of the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
