What do you get when you combine a food drive, Labor Day Weekend on the Jersey Shore, 3-days of live music, a corn hole tournament and a movie-night? The 3rd Annual Surfside Food Drive, that’s what. We posted up Friday, Saturday and Sunday right on the Asbury Park boardwalk and stationed 20-different drop-off locations from Rumson to Normandy Beach from the middle of August to the end of beach season. With the help of the local businesses and shore communities we were able to deliver over 3,500 lbs. to the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
