The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank

After meeting some new friends in Arkansas we headed south towards New Orleans for a much needed long weekend. Crawfish etoufee and gratuitous amounts of gumbo recharged our enthusiasm for the open road and our stomachs. We left the Big Easy behind us and drove to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to learn a little more about their daily operations and the need in their community…

We got to meet some of the inspiring people that were the first responders for New Orleans and the surrounding areas after the disasters caused by Hurricane Katrina.

Thank you to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for all that you do to make this world a better place. You truly inspire us.
